What clearance means in practice
A single document can touch four or five authorities before it is usable. An overseas degree certificate needs attestation abroad, embassy legalisation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation here, certified Arabic translation, and then submission to whichever body actually required it — an employer, a regulator or a university.
Each of those has its own requirements, its own queue and its own way of rejecting things. Clearance means holding the whole sequence in one place so that nothing waits on a step nobody realised was required.
Departments and authorities we work with
Our day-to-day work spans immigration and residency authorities, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation through Tasheel, the identity and citizenship authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the courts, economic departments and free zone authorities, municipalities, the Federal Tax Authority, and embassies and consulates in the UAE.
Because we work across all of them, we can see where a file is genuinely stuck rather than guessing — and we know which queries need a document and which need a conversation.
- Personal document clearance for residents and newcomers
- Corporate document clearance for companies and branches
- Attestation and legalisation chains, inbound and outbound
- Certified legal translation as part of the clearance
- Urgent and deadline-driven clearance
- Document collection and delivery within the emirate
Before the deadline, not after
Most clearance work arrives with a deadline attached: a job offer that lapses, a school admission that closes, a tender that must be submitted, a visa that expires. The honest thing we can do is tell you at the outset whether your deadline is realistic.
If it is tight but achievable, we will tell you which express options exist and what they cost. If it is not achievable, we will say so rather than take the fee and let you find out late. Steps that happen abroad are usually the constraint, and no one in the UAE can accelerate them.
Working across the emirates
Requirements, fees and processing times differ by emirate, and a document cleared for use in one may still need a further step for another. We process across the UAE and will tell you plainly where an emirate-specific requirement applies to your file.
How the process works
- 1
Assessment
We map the full clearance route for your document — every authority, in order — and quote the whole chain upfront.
- 2
Preparation
Forms are typed, translations arranged and the supporting file assembled before anything is submitted.
- 3
Submission and follow-up
We submit to each authority in sequence and chase the file rather than waiting for it to move on its own.
- 4
Delivery
Cleared originals are returned to you by collection, courier or digitally where the authority issues electronically.
Questions about this service
It is the end-to-end process of getting a document through every authority it must pass before it can be used — preparation, translation, attestation, submission and follow-up, handled as one job.
Yes, we process across the UAE. Requirements, fees and timelines vary by emirate and we quote accordingly.
It depends on the chain. Steps within the UAE are usually a few working days each. Steps completed abroad are the main variable and are outside our control — we give a realistic range at the start.
Yes, collection and delivery within the emirate is part of the service for most clients.
No. Gulf Nejoom is a private, licensed document clearance company. We submit through official channels on your behalf; all decisions and fees are the authority's.
