Transactions we process
The core of Tasheel work is the employment lifecycle: quota approval, job offer, work permit, labour contract, labour card issuance and renewal, contract amendments covering salary, designation or working hours, and cancellation when an employee leaves. Around that sit establishment card issuance and renewal, company data amendments, signatory changes and the wage protection system registration that payroll depends on.
We also handle temporary and part-time work permits, juvenile permits, mission permits for short assignments, and the transfer of an employee from one sponsor to another.
Why employers get stuck
Most Tasheel delays trace back to the establishment file rather than the individual application. A quota that has not been approved, an expired establishment card, an unregistered or non-compliant wage protection record, or an outstanding fine will all block new permits — and the system will not always explain which of these is the cause.
We check the establishment file first on every engagement. If something there is holding you up, you find out on day one rather than after a rejected application.
Contracts and compliance
UAE labour contracts must be registered with the Ministry, must match the terms the employee actually agreed, and must comply with current rules on contract type, term and notice. A contract typed carelessly — a job title that does not match the permit, or a salary inconsistent with the wage protection record — creates an exposure that surfaces at exactly the wrong moment, usually during a dispute or an inspection.
We draft the Arabic contract to the registered terms and flag anything in your intended arrangement that current rules do not permit.
Ongoing support for employers
Companies with staff have Tasheel transactions every month. We work per transaction or on a retained basis, maintaining a renewal calendar for labour cards, establishment cards and contracts so nothing expires unnoticed and no fine accrues for a lapse nobody was watching.
How the process works
- 1
Establishment check
We review your company file — quota, establishment card, fines and wage protection status — before touching the individual transaction.
- 2
Preparation
Forms and the Arabic labour contract are prepared to the agreed terms and checked against the employee documents.
- 3
Submission
The transaction is submitted through Tasheel with fees itemised at cost, and tracked to approval.
- 4
Completion
You receive the permit, contract or card, plus the renewal date for your calendar.
Questions about this service
Tasheel is the approved service channel for submitting Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation transactions such as work permits and labour contracts. Gulf Nejoom prepares and submits transactions through it on your behalf.
A clean file with approved quota usually moves within a few working days per stage. Delays almost always come from the establishment file rather than the permit itself.
Yes, subject to the current transfer rules, the status of the existing contract and the cancellation position with the previous employer. We check all three before starting.
Fines accrue and the employee is not validly permitted to work. Renew before expiry. If a card has already lapsed, send us the details and we will quantify the position and correct it.
Yes — from a single employee upwards. Many of our clients are small businesses without an in-house PRO.
